Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting individuals within care homes and providing personalised home care services. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Support clients in adhering to personalised care plans tailored to their individual needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
- Assist with medication management as per care plans (training provided if necessary)
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Support clients with light domestic tasks such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Drive or accompany clients on outings or appointments as required (driving preferred but not essential)
Experience
- Previous experience working within a care home or home care environment is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Good IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

Pay: £12.82 per hour
