We are delighted to share the fantastic results of our latest Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) inspection.
Following a two-day inspection in May 2026, Sandford Care Home was rated GOOD in all four key areas — a wonderful achievement that reflects the consistent quality of care, support and leadership provided across our home. Even more pleasingly, the inspection also highlighted elements of excellent and outstanding practice, recognising the dedication, compassion and professionalism shown by our whole team every day.

The CIW inspection process included time spent observing daily life in the home, speaking with residents and staff, and reviewing the quality of care and support being delivered. We are proud that the feedback received highlighted the warm atmosphere at Sandford, the commitment of our team, and the quality of life experienced by those who live here.
