August was a month full of celebration, laughter and precious moments at Gedling Village Care Home as four much-loved residents marked their birthdays surrounded by friends, family and fellow residents. From special family time to birthday wishes shared throughout the home, each celebration created memories to treasure.
One of the biggest milestones was a very special birthday for Christine, who celebrated an incredible 80th birthday. Affectionately described as “21 again”, Christine enjoyed marking the occasion with her loved ones and plenty of birthday cheer. The celebratory photographs capture the happiness of the day and the warm wishes she received from everyone at Gedling Village.
Another resident celebrating during August was Chris, who spent his birthday morning with his family before returning to enjoy the good wishes of residents and staff. Birthdays provide a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time with loved ones, and it was lovely to see Chris surrounded by those closest to him on his special day.
