Early this year, unbeknownst to us, a relative of one of our residents nominated 2 of our staff Sam & Helen from Beechy Knoll, for the BBC Radio Sheffield Make a Difference Awards! We are very exited to share that hey were both shortlisted for the the work they’ve been doing in the Carer category.
We received a from the #BBCMakeADifference team stating – ‘We had hundreds of entries and I know the judges were really impressed with the work that you’ve been doing, so congratulations!’
The awards ceremony is due to take place on Saturday 24th September at the Cutlers Hall in Sheffield and we can’t wait to attend and will be keeping our fingers crossed that our ladies bring home the trophy! 🏆
