Sandford Care Home is seeking a compassionate and reliable Care Assistant to join our dedicated team on a 9‑month maternity cover contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care professional who is passionate about delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care in a supportive residential setting.
Job Details
- Hours: 42 hours per week
- Contract: Fixed‑term – 9‑month maternity cover
- Rate of Pay: £14.75 per hour
- Working Pattern: Includes every other weekend
- Location: Sandford Care Home, Prestatyn
Key Responsibilities
- Providing high‑quality personal care and support to residents
- Promoting dignity, choice, and independence at all times
- Supporting residents with daily activities and well‑being
- Working effectively as part of a caring and professional team
- Maintaining accurate care records in line with regulations
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable)
- Previous experience in a care setting is preferred
- A caring, patient, and positive attitude
- Reliability and flexibility to meet service needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
