Celebrating Excellence: Great British Care Awards – Multiple Finalists Announced

There are moments in care when it is important to pause, reflect and celebrate the incredible people who make a difference every single day. Today is one of those moments.

We are absolutely delighted to congratulate our colleagues who have been selected as finalists in the prestigious Great British Care Awards.

Being nominated for a national award is a wonderful achievement in itself. However, reaching the finalist stage is something truly exceptional. Our finalists have stood out amongst hundreds of nominations, impressing judges with their dedication, compassion, leadership, innovation and unwavering commitment to delivering outstanding care.

This is not simply recognition of a job well done. It is acknowledgement that these individuals and teams are among the very best in the sector.

Our Fantastic Finalists

While these awards recognise individuals and specific teams, everyone involved in care knows that nobody achieves success alone.

Behind every finalist is a supportive team of carers, nurses, managers, housekeepers, cooks, maintenance staff, activity teams and colleagues who work together every day to create warm, welcoming homes where people can thrive. It is these shared values, collective efforts and strong home communities that allow individuals to shine.

Care is never about one person. It is about people coming together with a common purpose.

Every smile shared, every comforting conversation, every activity organised, every meal prepared and every act of kindness contributes to the environment that helps exceptional care flourish. Our finalists may be standing in the spotlight, but they represent the hard work, dedication and passion found throughout their homes and across our organisation.

Most importantly, the true beneficiaries of that commitment are always our residents.

Their happiness, wellbeing, dignity and quality of life are at the heart of everything we do. Awards and recognition are wonderful, but they are never the reason we come to work each day. We do what we do to support the people who call our homes their home, helping them live fulfilling lives surrounded by kindness, companionship and exceptional care.

That is what makes these achievements so meaningful.

All finalists have been invited to attend the Great British Care Awards Gala evening following their interviews with the judging panel. It promises to be a fantastic celebration of excellence across the sector, with winners announced during the evening.

Whatever the outcome on the night, reaching the finals is already an outstanding accomplishment and one that deserves to be celebrated.
