Our recent Christmas fair, held alongside our open day, was a truly joyful and unforgettable occasion.
The day was filled with festive cheer, warm conversations and a wonderful sense of togetherness. We were absolutely delighted with the turnout, as far more people attended than we had expected, making the celebration feel even more special.
Thanks to everyone’s incredible generosity and support, we are proud to share that we raised nearly £400 on the day. This fantastic achievement will help support future activities for our much-loved family of residents – more exciting news to come on those!
The open day also gave visitors the opportunity to see the exciting upgrades taking place across our home. Improvements to our new beautiful, spacious en-suite bedrooms, along with enhancements to the roof and communal areas. These have already made a noticeable difference, both aesthetically and practically. We’re delighted to share that these improvements will continue throughout 2026.
It was also a pleasure to welcome professionals on the day, who attended to support, advise and be part of these positive and ongoing developments. We were thrilled to see so many people come along to explore the upgraded facilities, enjoy the Christmas fair and spend quality time together.
Our fantastic team and home manger, Jason, would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, helped, donated and supported the event. The success of the day would not have been possible without you. Your continued encouragement and support mean so much to everyone living and working at Brantley. Days like these are a wonderful reminder of the warmth, kindness and appreciation of our home from the wider community. We look forward to welcoming everyone again very soon.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We will all be celebrating here at Brantley!
Many thanks.
Jason Hewitt – Home manager
