One particularly inspiring moment came when Maggie, a much-loved resident, fulfilled her long-held wish of playing a round of golf. With thoughtful planning and support from the team, Maggie was able to step onto the course, surrounded by fresh air, open green space, some beautiful sunshine and enjoy the relaxing rhythm of a game she has always had a dream to learn.
For Maggie, it wasn’t just about golf, it was about rediscovering a sense of freedom, confidence and connection to cherished memories. As she made her way around the course, there was an obvious sense of pride and happiness, not only for her but for everyone who helped make the day possible.
