The whole team at Ladydale and The Dales is thrilled to welcome our brand‑new shared minibus! This wonderful addition will make day-to-day life brighter for everyone across both units. For our younger residents at The Dales, especially those with learning disabilities, the bus opens the door to more frequent and enjoyable outings—bowling, swimming, weekly activities, family visits and so much more. It’s a huge step forward in helping them stay active, social and connected.
Our Ladydale residents are equally excited, as the minibus means bigger adventures are now easier than ever. From relaxing beach trips to fun days at museums, family parks, cafés and meals out. The opportunities for meaningful days together have grown so much with the increased access and availability of our own bus. These special outings help create lasting memories, encourage community involvement and bring an extra bit of joy to everyone’s week.
Most importantly, the minibus helps both homes come together as one inclusive community. Instead of relying on wheelchair taxis—and facing restrictions on days or times—we can now ensure that all residents are involved, all the time. This shared bus represents independence, freedom and togetherness, making it possible for every resident to enjoy the experiences they deserve. It’s an exciting milestone for both Ladydale and The Dales!
