Meet our Regional Managers – Rob, Sharn & Pako
“Hello, I’m Rob and I am the Regional Manager for Pearlcare in the North West. I have been working in health and social care now for over 15 years. I started as a care assistant and worked my way up. I joined Pearlcare back in 2019 as a deputy manager and then home manager of Wellfield in 2020.”
“I am very proud of the home I managed, ensuring that the residents were at the heart of everything we did. In January 2023, I was promoted to Regional Manager overseeing 8 care homes in the group, this role allows me to give back my skills and knowledge to our fantastic home managers and to support them in their role to ensure that we give the highest quality care possible.”
“Hi there! My name is Sharn, and I have dedicated the past nine years to working in health and social care. With a degree in Health and Social Care and a range of qualifications in mental health, children’s psychology, and learning disabilities, I have developed a deep understanding of the sector and the people it serves.
I began my career as a support worker, where I gained invaluable hands-on experience supporting individuals with complex needs. Over the years, I progressed into management roles, and today, I am proud to serve as a Regional Manager, overseeing mental health, learning disability & elderly dementia services. This journey has given me a unique perspective on the challenges and rewards at every level of our field.
Being a Regional Manager matters to me because it allows me to influence positive change on a larger scale. It is a role that carries great responsibility—not just for service outcomes, but for the wellbeing of staff and the people we support. I am passionate about creating environments where everyone feels valued, empowered, and able to achieve their potential.
What’s important to me in this role is upholding the highest standards of care and fostering a culture of respect, inclusion, and continuous improvement. I strive to ensure that our services make a meaningful difference in people’s lives and that staff are supported to grow professionally and personally.
I enjoy my work because every day presents new opportunities to make an impact. Seeing teams thrive, individuals achieve their goals, and services evolve for the better is incredibly rewarding. My core values—integrity, compassion, and accountability—guide everything I do, both in my professional journey and beyond.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring the outdoors. I believe that maintaining a healthy work-life balance and pursuing personal interests helps me bring energy and perspective to my role”
“Hello, I’m Pako. I have over 20 years of experience working within the healthcare sector, supporting individuals across a wide range of care settings. I have progressed through almost every level within care services, including Healthcare Assistant, Head of Care, Deputy Manager, Registered Home Manager, and Regional Manager. This journey has given me a deep appreciation of the challenges faced at every level of care, as well as a strong understanding of what is needed to deliver safe, high-quality, and compassionate services”
